Before Nine Club isn’t a networking group.

It’s designed for people who’ve tried EO, BNI, and similar – and found them too structured, too cheesy, or too transactional.

There are no referral targets, no forced participation, and no performance energy.

Just leaders who value honest discussion, mutual respect, and being able to think out loud with peers.

Leadership can be isolating.

This club exists to give experienced operators a place to talk things through — without frameworks, scorecards, or performative accountability.

Food matters

Breakfasts are hosted at carefully chosen venues across South Australia — places with excellent food, proper coffee. Expect thoughtful choices and the occasional venue you may not have come across before.

Atmosphere

Spaces that feel calm, considered, and private enough to talk openly with peers. Some are designed just for us; others are quietly different. We'll think outside of the box for good venues that resonate.

Community

Time and consistency matter. Groups stay together for three months, createing continuity and depth while a private Slack community keeps connection and conversation flowing in between.

Any upside goes back to the table

The focus is on sustainability, not profit. Membership fees cover the essentials, and any surplus is returned to the group through an end-of-year event.

Where do we meet

Breakfasts are typically held at venues within around 20 minutes of the Adelaide CBD. Occasionally, and with plenty of notice, a breakfast may be hosted slightly further out for a particular venue or experience. Locations are always shared well in advance.

Who is this for?

Membership is for business owners and C-suite professionals from businesses generating $800k+ in annual revenue. The aim is to ensure everyone in the room brings relevant experience and perspective to share.

Is this only for South Australia?

Yes. This is a South Australia–based community to start with but stay tuned!

How much does it cost?

Founding members
$130 per month.

This covers:
Monthly breakfast (food included)
Coordination and light facilitation
Access to the private Slack community

Any profit is spent on an additional end of year event for the community.

Can I bring a guest?

Membership includes two guest invites per year.
